This is a supportive space. Celebrate other makers, offer constructive feedback only when asked, and lead with warmth.
Share your own work
Only post projects, patterns, and photos that are yours or that you have explicit permission to share.
Respect all skill levels
Every maker is on their own journey. Welcome beginners, celebrate their wins, and remember we were all new once.
Keep it craft-focused
The Common Thread is for sewing, knitting, and making. Off-topic content, politics, and divisive discussions belong elsewhere.
Credit designers and creators
Always credit the pattern designer when sharing your makes. The creative community depends on this respect.
